Most images you see in JobWhat — the extension, jobwhat.app and these docs — are our own: the JobWhat logo, icons, illustrations and screenshots. The main exception is company logos, which belong to the companies themselves. This page explains where they come from.
Company logos
Company logos next to jobs, companies and reviews in JobWhat are loaded from Logo.dev using the company's website domain (for example example.com). Some logos are instead taken from the job board page you're already viewing, such as a LinkedIn job listing.
- Logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. They're shown only to help you recognise a company at a glance.
- Showing a logo doesn't imply endorsement. A company's logo in JobWhat doesn't mean that company endorses, sponsors or is affiliated with JobWhat, and JobWhat doesn't imply any relationship with it.
- Wrong logo, or want one removed? Tell us through the feedback form: the speech-bubble icon in the extension's header, or Send feedback on this page. That's the support channel, so there's no separate support mailbox. Include the company name and what's wrong.
Privacy
When a company logo loads, your browser requests the image from Logo.dev, as it would for any image on the web. Logo.dev receives the company's domain and, like any image request, your IP address and browser details. JobWhat doesn't send Logo.dev your profile, résumé or job log.
