Usage limits & AI credits
Every plan has a monthly cap on each metered action, including Pro. The caps are generous enough that most job searches never hit them on Pro, but none of them is unlimited. You can see where you stand on the popup's Plan tab, under Usage.
Monthly caps
Counts are per calendar month and reset on the 1st. Unused allowance doesn't carry over.

The trial gets the Pro caps for everything except the Craigslist classifier, which stays at the Free 100 until you subscribe.
What doesn't count
- Cached results. Re-showing a Resume Score, analysis or title match that's already cached is free. Only a fresh result counts.
- Re-views. Opening a job you've already viewed doesn't count again.
- Repeat fills. Several Autofill clicks on the same application page count as one.
- Local work. When the Craigslist classifier runs out, local extraction of contact details still works.
The bars
Each meter shows used / cap for this month and your plan (Free, Trial or Pro). Bars are green under 70%, yellow from 70% to 90%, and red at 90% or more. The Craigslist classifier meter only appears when Craigslist is turned on in Settings → Job boards.
When a meter is full, that one action pauses until the 1st. Everything else keeps working: the job log, reminders, export, and any action whose own meter still has room.
AI scan credits
Paid subscribers can buy extra AI scans.
- $10 for 1,000 AI scans, a one-time Stripe payment.
- The Buy credits · $10 for 1000 AI scans button appears on the Plan tab's Usage card only for paid monthly or yearly subscribers. It isn't offered on Free or during the trial.
- Credits raise your AI scans ceiling. The meter reads, for example, 5,000 / 6,000 · +1000 bought.
- The monthly 5,000 is used first. Credits are only spent once it's used up.
- Credits you haven't used stay on your balance into the next month; only the credits you actually spent are deducted when the month rolls over.
- Credits are tied to the email you subscribed with. After checkout, the extension claims them automatically. If jobwhat's server is briefly unreachable, your purchase is safe and the credits are added when it's back.
Why caps at all
AI scans and title match cost real money per call, and the other meters keep automated use in check. Caps keep a single subscription priced at $9 a month or $49 a year. See Pricing & free trial.
